VISITA DE GIN (GREYHOUNDS IN NEED) 15/16 Abril 2016

El pasado fin de semana tuvimos la suerte de recibir en nuestro refugio, por fin, a nuestros amigos y colaboradores de Greyhounds in Need (GIN). Una Asociacion de UK que lleva desde Junio 2012 ayudando a APAPA a rescatar galgos. Gracias a su ayuda, hasta la fecha hemos podido salvar y dar en adopcion a unos 60 galgos. La mayoria rescatado de las perreras municipales. La visita al refugio del Sabado fue pasado por agua pero nos reimos mucho y al final pudieron ver todas las instalaciones, conocer nuestro proyecto y nuestros animales. Tambien vinieron Adriana con Estrella y Maria Engracia con Edna. Dos galgas cuyas vidas han cambiado radicalmente gracias a la ayuda de esta organizacion. Estamos muy ilusionados con la ayuda que nos han ofrecido y esperamos que en breve podemos poner en marcha un proyecto precioso que estamos deseando desarrollar por el bien de la sociedad y los animales. Queremos dar las gracias a Carolyn, Martin, Leigh and Tracey por tomar el tiempo en visitarnos, por su confianza en nuestra Asociacion y por toda la ayuda prestada durante todos estos años. Esperemos que dure mucho y que no tardan en volver para otra visita. Gracias de todo el equipo de APAPA.
Last weekend we were fortunate to finally receive in our shelter our friends and partners from Greyhounds in Need (GIN). An Asociation from UK that has been helping APAPA since June 2012 in the rescueing of greyhounds. Thanks to their help, to date we have been able to save and give in adoption about 60 greyhounds. Most rescued from the municipal killing stations. The visit to the shelter on Saturday was a wet one but we laughed a lot and in the end could see all the facilities, see our project and our animals. Adriana also came with Estrella and Maria Engracia with Edna. Two galgos whose lives have radically changed thanks to the help of this organization. We are very excited about the help they have given us and hope that soon we can soon launch a beautiful project we are hoping to develop for the benifit of society and animals. We want to thank Carolyn, Martin, Leigh and Tracey for taking the time to visit us, for your confidence in our Association and for all your help over the years. We hope it lasts long and that they soon return for another visit. Thanks from all the APAPA Team!!
